Triple Threat Intermediate:
Suggested ages 8-11 years old. This is our most popular age group with waiting lists in place in Bracknell! This very lively age group work hard as a team to study at a level usually kept for younger teens! All material is age appropriate, but every child is really challenged, and everyone rises to that challenge. Students from this class in our main school have gone on to work in films and the West End through our agency.

Triple Threat Advanced:
Suggested ages 11-15 years old (children must be in their first year at senior school as a minimum before moving up into this class). This class studies at a much more advanced level, and materials reflect their age. In our big summer shows, Advanced take the supporting roles alongside our older teens. With most of our shows written for us, it is a chance to really showcase! Our Windsor branch of TT Advance runs for three hours a week (Bracknell Advanced students have a one hour longer day). Once a teen theatre company is established in later terms, Advanced Windsor will have the option of staying for an additional hour each week to study with the older teens like their Bracknell counterparts. Students from this class in our main school have gone on to work in films, commercials, TV and the West End through our agency.

What do we study?
'Triple threat' is an industry term for performers who are proficient in all three disciplines - Acting, Singing and Dancing. An actor who can sing and dance with some confidence has far more job opportunities than one who can't.

In drama, children will learn about famous play writers, film makers and stage craft.
In music, children work on songs together, and begin to learn basic vocal techniques, musicianship and to read sheet music.
For dance, fitness and agility are key, with through warm ups, a routine and the basic steps to build up to devising show dance. The dance is fun and even 'non dancers' will want to take part!

Autumn and Summer terms conclude with a show, which will be produced by the group to be played in a mid scale theatre or other public venue. Spring terms give tutors the chance to workshop on a variety of subjects, with special guests visiting (such as make up artists, song writers, vocal & dialect coaches). Spring is also when we commence rehearsals for the summer show.

In January, Intermediate and Advanced students use the work they have prepared for the Christmas show and take group LAMDA exams. All our current (Bracknell) students have passed previous exams with Merit or Distinction and enjoy the challenge of the exams, as well as the validation they feel when they get their results! It is in no way compulsory for students to take exams however, each child can still fully participate in class without having to attend the exam day (as long as we know in advance and can provide an understudy).

Each Triple Threat class is limited to 16 students to ensure the highest levels of attention and quality of training.

A uniform of school T-shirt, leggings or black jazz pants and black jazz shoes is worn.

Fees and payment information
All three classes run from 1.30 - 4.30pm on Saturdays (term time) and cost £297 per child per 12 week term. Sibling discounts of 10% each are available. Full terms and conditions of booking are available to download, and will be available in your welcome pack on the trial day.

Fees are pro rata for those students starting after the first week of any term. We regret we can't offer a reduction in fees for any classes students have to miss unless we have cancelled a class.

Fees are payable upon booking, and may be split into three pieces if required (please ask for a 'split payment' form). Most parents choose to split fees, and we try to make the process as easy as possible! Fees can be settled by debit or credit card, standing order, cash or childcare vouchers. Please note, since the removal of the cheque guarantee scheme we are no longer able to accept cheques.

Next Show
All our new Windsor branch students will join in our Bracknell branch to present a brand new musical play, written especially for us, at the Kenton Theatre in Henley from 8th-14th July 2013. Each student will have a speaking part which suits their skill and confidence level, as well as a lot of stage time as the supporting cast for Medusa, our older teenage theatre company.

Staff
The new branch is managed by Claire Keohane, a registered theatrical chaperone, who is also a mother of five. One of Claire's children appears in Oliver (West End tour) at the moment, so she is well placed to help parents with questions about shows and training. Both of her boys attend our Bracknell branch. Our music and drama teachers are both PGCE qualified, and our dance teacher is dance qualified.

Free Trials
You can arrange a FREE trial at any point in the term, and anyone joining mid way into a term will have fees pro-rata to reflect this.

'Triple Threat' is an industry term for performers who are proficient in all three disciplines - Acting, Singing and Dancing. An actor who can sing and dance with some confidence has far more job opportunities than one who can't. Our Triple Threat in Windsor ensures that any aspiring young person gets more than just the 'basics'. Advanced students in both branches support our teen theatre company during summer shows, and perform challenging scenes in the Christmas show before taking exams in the Spring term. There are also chances to perform with the Bracknell branch at large events like The Windsor Globe, The Marvellous Festival, Beale Park and more!

Course study includes:
* In drama, students will learn about famous play writers, film makers, genres and stage craft. Confidence, improved articulation and mastering the a more advanced grasp of the technical aspect of acting and performing (such as stage terminology) are three of the aims we set ourselves for our young actors. Students are also involved in the building and striking of any set used, and encouraged to direct and produce class pieces.
* In music students work on a song together, and learn to sight read sheet music.
* For dance, fitness and agility are key, with through warm ups, a routine and the basic steps to build up to devising show dance. The dance is fun and even 'non dancers' will want to take part!

Summer and Autumn terms conclude with a show, which will be produced by the group to be played in a mid scale theatre. Spring terms give tutors the chance to workshop on a variety of subjects, with special guests visiting (such as make up artists, song writers, vocal & dialect coaches), as well as final preparations for LAMDA Acting and Musical Theatre exams in February.

The Advanced class is limited to 18 students to ensure the highest levels of attention and quality of training. The course is taught by male and female staff to ensure balance and sufficient role-modeling. Although we have set 12 as the guideline for joining (or inthe first year of senior school), we will consider a younger person by interview/group audition. 15 year olds may also audition for the Medusa theatre company (subject to space) as an alternative.

We only use the best tutors on all our courses, and every single teacher has a degree or specialist equivilent, industry experience and in most cases a PGCE or other teaching qualification.

A uniform of a school teeshirt, black leggings or jazz pants and black jazz shoes is worn.

Please note - Advanced in Windsor is a slightly different course than the Bracknell branch version which is slightly longer each week. Once we add a teenage theatre company to the Windsor branch in 2013, Windsor Advanced students will have the option of the extra hour with the older teens mirroring our Bracknell course.

We are registered with OFSTED and accept Childcare Vouchers on classes.
We work at GCSE level, and include some texts and themes included in main stream syllabus. Students who take this course are may have, or be working towards, gaining considerable experience and a possible place in our teen theatre company before moving into full time performing arts further education at 16 or 18.

As part of the course, students may work towards LAMDA qualifications which can give them additional UCAS points (depending on the level taken), or simply used as a stand alone achievement.

Many of the class already have professional performing experience on West End shows, commercials, film and TV. Newcomers are very welcome though!
