Dancing-Singing-Drama Classes Chester

Theatretrain Dancing, Drama & Performing Arts School in Chester offers weekly classes in Dancing, Singing and Drama to children from 6 years old to 18 years old.

Each Friday & Saturday during term time kids do Dancing classes, acting classes and singing classes at Queen’s Park High School, Queen’s Park Road, Chester, CH4 7AE.

Chester's Theatretrain lessons are great fun and build confidence and help to develop the imagination.

Our classes are taught in specific age groups of 6-9 years, 9-12 years and 13-18 years.

Children learn a step by step understanding of the performing arts in drama, singing and dancing and previous experience isn't necessary.

At Chester Theatretrain we love to perform and provide many opportunities for ALL our pupils to perform in our local, regional and West End shows!

While Theatretrain’s regular weekend sessions have classes in dancing, singing and acting, DRAMA PLUS will concentrate on Acting and will give children the opportunity to develop their performance skills,improve acting technique and build their confidence, make new friends….and have fun.

This is at The Forum Studio Theatre, Chester, every Tuesday from 4.30-6.30pm

• WHEN DO CLASSES TAKE PLACE?

Fridays 4.30-7.30pm
Saturdays 10am - 1pm

Tues Drama Plus 4.30-6.30pm

• WHAT HAPPENS IN CLASS?

The children are in their own age groups 6-9yrs, 9-12yrs and 13-18yrs.

They have an hour of dance, an hour of singing and an hour of
drama. Each of these classes are taken by different qualified
professional teachers.

The lessons are fun and there's no undue stress
attached to them, children can work at their own pace and within their abilities. However a high level of commitment is expected and the students will be challenged!

• HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

The cost is £15.00 per class for the first child, and any other children in the family pay £9 per Saturday. Everyone is invited to attend a FREE trial session and if they wish to enrol after that we ask for a terms' commitment. (There are several ways of paying for this.)

• SHOWS?

At least 1 main show a year with a variety of other performance opportunities.

All of our children take part in the shows and they are produced to a very high standard, working with Industry professionals.

 

• WHY?

Theatretrain exists to give children the chance to train professionally in the performing arts and includes all three diciplines of drama, singing and dance, guided by experienced teachers. Ability isn't essential - but enthusiasm is! We want children to really enjoy performing and gain confidence whilst doing so.

Theatretrain is a great place to learn new skills and make new friends.
