Dance Classes, Singing and Drama lessons for Children in Colchester

Run by a West End Musical actress and a highly experienced performing arts teacher, Jesters is THE place to discover your talents and sense of adventure!

The atmosphere is happy and relaxed, we believe in learning skills and techniques through fun, and regularly perform full scale productions on stage aided by our professional sound and lighting technicians. We also give public performances and are regularly offered gigs!

All teachers and guest workshop leaders are experienced teachers who are professional choreographers, directors or performers.

Jesters Theatre Academy in Colchester, is for children from 2 years old to adult. The classes introduce the magic of Musical Theatre to toddlers by teaching them simple routines to songs from all the best musicals. Singing in the Rain, Les Mis, Annie, Barnum, Mary Poppins and many more! Props, costumes and even sparkly hats are provided to bring out the performer in your child!

At Jesters performing Arts School in Colchester we pride ourselves on maintaining SMALL CLASSES and this makes us unique to other Stage Schools, by keeping the classes small it allows our staff to nurture and develop your child as an individual.

Classes are run in Colchester run on Mondays, Tuesday, Fridays and Saturdays and are grouped by age, students take part in Acting, Singing and Dancing and Sessions include creative exploration as well as taught routines and direction.
