Upon satisfactory completion of the Second Year, students are awarded either the KSA Higher Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre, or the KSA Higher Diploma in Professional Acting. This recognises a student’s commitment to further industry-specific training and that they are a fully-trained, experienced individual, confident in a range of professional performance situations.

In addition to the KSA Higher Diploma, the qualification for which students train throughout the Second Year is the Licentiate Trinity College London (LTCL) Performance Diploma in either Musical Theatre, or Speech & Drama. This diploma is accredited by Trinity Guildhall, is awarded QCF credits and is comparable to other qualifications available at Level 6 in the National Qualifications Framework. It is recognised as being equivalent to a Degree Level Course.

Students who successfully complete the Second Year also have the opportunity to convert their diploma qualifications into a full BA (Hons) degree in Professional Practice at Middlesex University.
