Dancing and Acting classes and performance in Grantham

Performing Arts School New Youth Theatre provides singing, kids dance, movement and drama classes in Grantham for children and teenagers from age 3 - 16.

Each session is run from Walton Girls High School,Harlaxton Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG31 7JR.

At the drama school the kids build confidence, stretch their imagination and gain essential life skills whilst learning the musical theatre skills, alongside making new friends and most importantly having fun!

New Youth Theatre believes that one staged theatre performance is worth 100 rehearsals that’s why all at the school in Grantham work hard to make sure the children perform a show per term.

We offer a fantastic opportunity for young people to act dance and sing. the Sessions are on Saturdays and cover all the disciplines of theatre performance.

All classes work towards a show that is to be performed at the end of each term.

Seniors 9 - 16
A three hour rehearsal period  covering all the disciplines of theatre performance - singing acting and movement. These rehearsals will result in a theatre performance at the end of each term

Juniors 6 - 11
A  2 hour rehearsal period covering all aspects of theatre performance – singing, acting, dance & movement.  These rehearsals will result in a theatre performance at the end of a term or two terms depending on the length of the production.

Tots 5 - 8
A fun based, action packed activity hour incorporating dance, singing & drama. Focusing on confidence building, working as a team & the basics of performing. Each term the tots will feature in a theatre performance.

Tiny Tots 3 - 5
30 fun filled minutes of music, movement & song carefully crafted to hold your little ones attention.  A little of their time will be spent preparing for your child’s magical NYT on stage… ! theatre experience.  Along with older children, they will have a unique chance to take part, have great fun and know that mum and dad will be watching too!

LAMDA
LAMDA - The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. We have a qualified LAMDA tutor offering classes and examinations in speech and drama.
