Performing Arts School in Lincoln, New Youth Theatre Lincoln provides singing classes in Lincoln, dance classes in Lincoln and movement and drama classes in Lincoln for children and teenagers from age 3 - 16.

Each session is run from University College Lincoln, and consists of drama, singing and dancing classes.

At the drama school in Lincoln the kids build confidence, stretch their imagination and gain essential life skills whilst learning the musical theatre skills, alongside making new friends and most importantly having fun!

New Youth Theatre in Lincoln believes that one staged theatre performance is worth 100 rehearsals that’s why all at New Youth Theatre Lincoln work hard to make sure the children perform a show per term.

We offer a fantastic opportunity for young people to perform. Lincoln Sessions are held on Thursdays, Saturday & Sunday and cover all the disciplines of theatre performance.

Seniors 9 - 16

A three hour rehearsal period covering all the disciplines of theatre performance.  These rehearsals will result in a theatre performance at the end of each term.

Juniors 6 - 11

A  2 hour rehearsal period covering all aspects of theatre performance.  These rehearsals will result in a theatre performance at the end of a term or two terms depending on the length of the production.

Tots 5 - 8

A fun based, action packed activity hour incorporating dance, singing & drama. Focusing on confidence building, working as a team & the basics of performing. Each term the tots will feature in a theatre performance.

Tiny Tots 3 - 5

30 fun filled minutes of music, movement & song carefully crafted to hold your little ones attention.  A little of their time will be spent preparing for your child’s magical NYT on stage… ! theatre experience.  Along with older children, they will have a unique chance to take part, have great fun and know that mum and dad will be watching too!

At New Youth Theatre we bring musical theatre to local communities and have given thousands of young people across the region a unique experience of being onstage.  We also have sister schools in Newark, Grantham, Leicester, Mansfield and Nottingham.
