Dance and Drama classes in Nottingham (West Bridgford & Bestwood Village) at New Youth Theatre 

Performing Arts School New Youth Theatre in Nottingham in West Bridgford, Nottingham and Bestwood Village, for children and teenagers from age 3 - 16.  Classes are also available in Mansfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

At the our drama school  the kids build confidence, stretch their imagination and gain essential life skills whilst learning the musical theatre skills, alongside making new friends and most importantly having fun!

New Youth Theatre believes that one staged theatre performance is worth 100 rehearsals that’s why all at New Youth Theatre  work hard to make sure the children perform a show per term.

Sessions are run on Tuesday's @ Methodist Church Centre, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7PQ

AND

Wednesdays @ Bestwood Community Centre, Bestwood Village, Nottingham, NG6 8TQ

Our  performing arts classes work towards a show that is to be performed at the end of each term.

Seniors 9 - 17

A three hour rehearsal period covering all the disciplines of theatre performance. These rehearsals will result in a theatre performance at the end of each term. 

Juniors 6 - 12

A 2 hour rehearsal period covering all aspects of theatre performance – singing, acting, dance & movement.  These rehearsals will result in a theatre performance at the end of a term or two terms depending on the length of the production.

Tots 5 - 8

A fun based, action packed activity hour incorporating dance, singing & drama. Focusing on confidence building, working as a team & the basics of performing. Each term the tots will feature in a theatre performance.

Tiny Tots 3 - 5

30 fun filled minutes of music, movement & song carefully crafted to hold your little ones attention.  A little of their time will be spent preparing for your child’s magical NYT on stage… ! theatre experience.  Along with older children, they will have a unique chance to take part, have great fun and know that mum and dad will be watching too!

At Nottingham New Youth Theatre we bring musical theatre to local communities and have given thousands of young people across the region a unique experience of being onstage.  We also have sister schools in Lincoln, Grantham, Leicester, Mansfield and Newark.
