Ratzcool - Drama, Singing, Dance Classes Wisbech

Ratzcool Theatre School Wisbech provides expert training in the Performing Arts. Its a great place for Children to learn new skills, meet new friends and explore their creativity.

Every week during term time children and teenagers do singing classes, dance classes and acting classes. Performing Arts classes for kids help to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and fun.

Ratzcool runs drama classes, dance classes and singing classes at Alexandra Rd, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire PE13 1HQ

all three age groups:

•  Characterisation

Some development topics that will be used to extend and progress students:

•  Writing & Poetry
• Assisting Directing

ALL students will perform in an annual TWO day Ratzcool SHOWCASE.
This is a show for families and friends to see the fun and learning their children are experiencing and hopefully satisfy the question of
‘...is this value for money?’

ACTING CLASSES WISBECH

Acting classes will:

use themes to cover the principles of stage craft
have visiting instructors
Have the opportunity to perform and to take exams.

DANCE CLASSES WISBECH

ALL dance classes will:

•  Use themes to cover the principles of dance and movement
•  Cover a variety of styles

Have the same opportunity to perform and to take exams.

SINGING CLASSES WISBECH

ALL singing classes will:

•  Use themes to cover the principles of singing
•  Cover a range of styles

 Have the opportunity to perform and to take exams.

TECHNICAL THEATRE CLASSES WISBECH

Technical craft classes will use actual and imaginary productions to focus the lessons and the skill and techniques to be learnt.

Students will have the opportunity to technically assist in ‘live’ productions
and to enter their portfolios for Trinity Arts Award accreditation.

Techie and Arty students will also be involved in the backstage production side and examples of their work will on display.

There is also an annual play which will be open to all Ratzcool student to audition for and every Easter, the Angles Theatre runs a RATz Youth musical production. The auditions are open to all Ratzcool students who are interested in performing in a musical production.

Students may choose to attend acting classes in Wisbech on
Wednesdays (MIXED) or Saturdays (JUNIORS 5 to 9, INTERMEDIATES 10 to 14 & SENIORS 15 to 19 years) with Dance and Singing Classes avaliable on Saturdays.
