Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow
Based in Glasgow, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is the UK’s only provider of conservatoire-level education in music, drama, dance, production and screen.
Founded in 1847, The Royal Conservatoire is based in Glasgow, a UNESCO City of Music and one of Europe's most vibrant cities.
During summer, the Royal Conservatoire offeres hundreds of part-time students the chance to study in their summer school programme. Students travel from all over the world to attend these summer courses.
There are over 70 summer schools on offer at the Royal Conservatoire, with courses for anyone who is passionate about the performing arts.
These offer a comprehensive range of different courses: from acting to, prosthetics,making short films to modern ballet; there is a huge range of courses to suit all creative tastes.
Courses are designed and led by Conservatoire staff members, lecturers, professors and International Fellows, who teach our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and can give you a taste of what full-time study is like.

The courses are affiliated with some of our national arts organisations including Scottish Ballet, as well as key educational institutions such as Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on Skye.
