STAGECOACH PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL, ASHFORD, KENT: PERFORMING ARTS AWARDS

Stagecoach, Ashford, Kent: Performance Arts Awards... Last year our Ashford students took part in the Performance Arts Awards.PAA offer the only fully integrated Musical Theatre exams that individually grade each student, within a group examination. PAA Musical Theatre grade exams help develop fully rounded performance skills in acting, singing and dance, which develop student confidence and communication; skills that are essential for the rest of their lives. All our students passed with flying colours. We also joined Stagecoach students from across the country and took part in a very special musical celebration 'Stagecoach Live' held at one of London's most prestigious theatres. We performed a piece called "Hammer Horror" featuring the music of Kate Bush and a very special version of "There's a Light (Over at the Frankenstien Place)" taken from Glee's Album: "Rocky Horror Glee Show". Over 250 students performed in this packed extravaganza at Her Majesty's Theatre in the heart of the West End. The theatre - currently the home of the smash hit musical 'The Phantom of the Opera' - played host to 16 Stagecoach schools from around the UK.
