Maidstone Based Stagecoach Performing Arts School in Maidstone West Malling Kent offers singing lessons, drama classes and dance classes in Maidstone, West Malling, Kent

Every week during term time children and teenagers do an hour of singing,  an hour of dance and an hour of drama.

Performing Arts classes for kids help to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and fun.

At Maidstone we offer performance opportunities twice a year and a Performance Troupe (by invitation) plus an annual Summer School. Many of our kids have been involved in professional productions at local theatres and many have joined the Stagecoach Agency. We also have connections with Maidstone Studios.

Our teachers are all CRB checked and have a wealth of experience and expertise in teaching the performing arts to children.

Our Principal Melinda has over 17 years experience as Principal at Maidstone, during this time she has provided children with a platform to explore their creativity and build new skills that will stay with them as they mature into adulthood.

Being a trained opera singer has allowed Melinda to understand the importance of being able to sing, act and dance in performance to portray the character and tell a story through music.

Having performed in a variety of roles as an actress and singer, most recently Melinda has taken part in the London Opera Vocal classes at the National Opera Studio. Her talents extend to organising high profile charity concerts and having extensive contacts in the local theatrical world.

Fees work out at approx £9 per hour, which offers outstanding value for money for quality performing arts training, small class sizes (15 max), exams, medals, performances, magazine subscription, optional representation by The Stagecoach Agency which secures professional work for hundreds of children, and the many other extras that are offered by Stagecoach Maidstone.

Stagecoach Part Time Stage School Maidstone West Malling runs drama classes, dance classes and singing classes within The Discovery School, Discovery Drive, Kings Hill, West Malling, ME19 4GJ - attracting kids from near and far, including Chatham, Sittingbourne, Sheerness and all the smaller surrounding Kent villages. We also have a sister school in Oxted in Surrey.
