Les Mis Actor visits Stagecoach Theatre School Winchester

David Streames visits Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Winchester

Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Winchester are well known for inviting guest teachers into their school. Last October was no exception when David Streames (an actor in both 'Les Miserables' at 'The Palace Theatre' in the 'West End' and the '25th Anniversary concert') visited Stagecoach Theatre Arts Winchester.

He ran a fun and educational drama workshop for our students. He was also helpful with rehearsals for our charity show we were rehearsing. Having played 'Thenardier' David was also able to give us direction into ‘One Day More’ - which was our finale number. This was especially helpful for Lee T from the Totton school, who is playing the same part and Hollie B, who will is playing 'Madame Thenardier'.

David trained at 'Guildhall School of Music and Drama' and as well as parts in 'Les Miserables', he has played in the lead in 'Me and My Girl' and starred in many plays and several TV series including, 'The Bill' and 'London’s Burning'. David finished the workshop with a question and answer session about drama school and getting into the business, which the students all found very useful. It was a brilliant workshop.
