The Big Talent is an independent, part time Performing Arts School and Children’s Agency with classes in Cardiff, Bridgend and Penarth and in partnership with Wales Millennium Centre. Our offices are down on the farm in Blackmill, Bridgend, South Wales.

We offer classes in English and Welsh and represent young performers for both English and Welsh productions on stage, in television and film. We recognise and nurture raw talent and teach performance skills for life. Open to everyone, regardless of experience or ability.

Classes at our Bridgend school

Classes at The Big Talent are split into four different age groups, Early Years (3-6) Juniors (7-11) Seniors (12-16) and Young Professionals (16+).

All our classes are a foundation course in performance skills to give young people a grounding in stage craft and let them explore their potential. They can help boost confidence and improve social skills as well as posture and vocal technique. Not just for budding actors, useful for all young people.

We also offer a class in West End style singing, dancing and drama for 7-11's -  "Young Company" is in partnership with Wales Millennium Centre.

Taster classes are available, call us to arrange your session. At the end of your taster you decide - if you want to continue you pay for the term there and then otherwise the sessions on us. This applies to all classes except Wales Millennium Centre's Young Company.

We are in partnership with Wales Millennium Centre to produce the Young Company, a class for 7-11 year olds that meets at the Millennium Centre on Saturday mornings with showings and performances at the Centre. This is an hour and half of West End style singing, dancing and drama.

Throughout the year we hold one off master classes with Industry professionals. Stage fighting, circus skills, recording studio session, along with guest directors and actors from West End shows and Television.

The Big Talent Agency nurtures and develops fresh new talent. We represent young people up to the age of 26 for professional work in TV, film and theatre as well as radio and commercials.

Specialising in representing Welsh speaking performers for work in Welsh language TV, film and theatre.  We have strong links with the Industry in Wales and London and our clients work throughout the UK and internationally.

Our Big Talent Agency is based in Cardiff Bay and offices are fully staffed and open 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

We hold Monthly Agency Workshops for our clients focusing on audition preparation, script work, sight reading and interview technique.
