Theatretrain Performing Arts School offer drama classes, singing classes and dance classes which are fun, build confidence and develop the imagination, classes take place in The Everest Community Academy, Basingstoke. 

At Theatretrain Basingstoke we love to perform and provide many opportunities for ALL our pupils to perform in our local, regional and West End shows.

Our classes of drama, singing and dancing are taught in age groups 6-9, 9-12 and 13-18. Children learn a step by step understanding of the performing arts and previous experience isn't necessary.

We have high expectations of our pupils and we ask for energy, enthusiasm and commitment in the work. All our teachers at our School are experienced professionals chosen for their experience and enthusiasm.

• WHERE?

Our venue is The Everest Community Academy, Oxford Way, Basingstoke, Hampshire. RG24 9UP

• WHEN?

Our 20112 Autumn Term runs from Sat 1st Sept - Sat 8th Dec 2012. 
10am - 1pm

• WHAT HAPPENS?

The children are in their own age groups.
6-8yrs, 9-12yrs and 13-18yrs.
They have an hour of dance, an hour of singing and an hour of 
drama. Each of these classes are taken by different qualified 
professional teachers. The lessons are fun and there's no undue stress 
attached to them, children can work at their own pace and within their abilities.

• HOW MUCH?

The cost is £16.00 per Saturday for the first child, and any other children in the family pay half price. We are happy to offer you a FREE TRIAL on a Saturday while your child tries the lessons out, after that we ask for a terms'commitment. (There are several ways of paying for this.)

• SHOWS?

We are currently performing 1 main show a year. We are soon to be performing  at Sadlers Wells Theatre in our brand new show 'Now Then' on Saturday 8th September!! Last year we had a local show  in Basingstoke, and 2010 saw us perform at the Royal Albert Hall!

All of our children take part in the shows!

• WHY?

Theatretrain exists to input a lot of fun and professional
 experience into childrens' lives. Ability isn't essential - but enthusiam 
is! We want children to really enjoy their classes. With great performing opportunities they quickly gain their confidence too.
