At Theatretrain Chelmsford we love to perform and provide many opportunities for ALL our pupils to perform in our local, regional and West End shows.

Our classes are great fun, they help you to build your confidence and it will help you make new friendships and develop the imagination.

Lessons are taught in age groups of 6-9, 9-12 and 13-18. In each lesson, children learn a step by step understanding of the performing arts. Previous experience isn't necessary.

We have high expectations of our pupils and we ask for energy, enthusiasm and commitment in the work. All our teachers are professionals and are chosen for their experience and enthusiasm.

WHERE OUR LESSONS TAKE PLACE?
Our lessons take place in Chelmsford at:
Great Baddow High School
Duffield Road
Chelmsford
CM2 9RZ

WHEN?
Saturdays 10.30am - 1.30 pm term time.

WHAT HAPPENS?
Classes are split into age groups 6-8yrs, 9-12yrs and 13-18yrs.

Each age group has an hour of dance, an hour of singing and an hour of
drama. Each of these classes are taken by different qualified
professional teachers. The lessons are fun and there's no undue stress
attached to them, children can work at their own pace and within their abilities.

SHOWS?

At least 1 main show a year.

All of our children take part in the shows - no audition necesscary!

WHY?
Theatretrain Chelmsford exists to put a lot of fun and professional
experience into childrens' lives. Ability isn't essential - but enthusiam
is! We want children to really enjoy performing and gaining confidence
whilst doing so.

Theatretrain runs from Great Baddow High School Duffield Road, Chelmsford and are open to all children regardless of experience.
